About the Program
We receive student referrals from a well-established network of individuals and reputable organizations, renowned for their expertise in identifying promising candidates. Our network extends to partner NGOs in the field of children’s health and education, as well as school educators, administrators, relatives of currently sponsored students, and community-based organizations.
Upon receiving a referral, a dedicated local social worker conducts a comprehensive in-home interview with the prospective recipient and their family, reviews the student’s previous year’s report cards and finalizes qualification forms. Should the student meet the eligibility criteria of our program, they are warmly welcomed into our sponsorship initiative and the KCIS family.

- Monthly Scholarships: Aligned with student grade levels to prevent dropouts.
- Tuition and Other Fees: Up to 100% coverage for tuition and additional school fees.
- Regular Oversight: Assignment of experienced social workers for consistent progress and tailored support.
- Educational Tools and Equipment: Coverage of up to 100% for books, stationary, computers, tablets, and other relevant equipment.
- Supplemental Services: Coverage for supplemental classes, tutoring, college enterqnce exam preparatory courses, foregien language or art classes, and necessary transportation on an as needed basis.
- Counseling Services: Individual and group workshops, college preparation and admission counseling, and social work counseling.
- Medical and Psychological Services: Partnerships with professional organizations for access to medical, dental, and psychological services mostly on a pro bono basis.
- Extracurricular Activities: Field trips, recreational and educational outings throughout the year.
- Year-Round Gifts: Gift cards for Nowruz and back-to-school for continuous support.
- Empowerment of Mothers: Workshops for mothers on child development, anger management, and mental health for direct impact on children’s wellbeing and success
