About the Program

KCIS aims to enhance communities where access to educational resources is limited, providing opportunities beyond the limits of conventional schooling. Various programs are created through partnerships with renowned organizations in the world of education or through in-house efforts, which play a critical role in bridging the gap in remote and underserved communities.

Read with Me Program

Read with Me Program

KCIS has joined forces with the Institute for Research on the History of Children’s Literature (IRHCL) to establish Read with Me children’s libraries in Kermanshah’s Zalan, Rijab, Javanrood, and Salas Babajani villages. These libraries serve as inclusive spaces where individuals can access and borrow books, participate in read-aloud sessions, engage in discussion groups, partake in theater-style activities inspired by books, dive into arts and crafts, participate in monthly movie nights for a well-rounded experience, and even undergo teacher training programs.

Additionally, under the Read with Me umbrella, KCIS has introduced a specialized literacy program in Sistan & Baluchistan’s Shirabad, Zahedan. This initiative caters to children who, due to various circumstances, have been deprived of formal schooling. Launched four years ago, the program has proven extremely successful, benefiting a total of 420 students to date.

Tech Wonderlands

Tech Wonderlands

KCIS believes that technology opens countless doors and provides endless opportunities. Initially established in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, we launched Tech Wonderland technology centers in multiple cities, providing students with a safe space to access computers and the internet, enroll in computer literacy courses, and receive support from a dedicated team of educators and volunteers skilled in coding and programming. After witnessing the transformative impact these centers have had on communities lacking access to technology infrastructure, KCIS has decided to make the Tech Wonderland centers a permanent part of its programs.

KaarYar

KaarYar

KCIS has forged a collaboration with KaarYar College, a social non-profit startup committed to equipping young students with essential skills for success in the digital world. This partnership extends a unique opportunity for eager individuals to participate in coding and web design training, access business and management workshops, receive invaluable mentorship, and secure internships and job placements. With the dedicated backing of KCIS, this initiative has become a vital conduit for providing comprehensive training and support to older teens and college students aspiring to enter the technology sector.
